Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales and/or partner success leadership role, preferably within the SaaS, e-learning, or technology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, managing renewals, and improving partner satisfaction metrics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform strategic decisions, including accurate forecasting of sales and renewals.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and partner success strategies tailored to the Japanese market, aligning regional objectives with global corporate goals.
  • Lead the sales team to meet and exceed revenue targets through effective planning, coaching, and performance management. Oversee the renewals process, ensuring high retention rates and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Accurately forecast sales and renewals to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee the partner success team to ensure partners achieve their desired outcomes and derive maximum value from our products/services. Implement initiatives to enhance partner onboarding, product adoption, and overall satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary liaison with Benesse, nurturing and expanding this strategic partnership to drive collaborative growth. Ensure their needs are met and proactively address any issues or concerns.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop high-performing sales and partner success professionals. Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the teams.
  • Work closely with marketing, product, and support teams to ensure a cohesive approach to market penetration and partner retention. Provide market feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare and present regular reports on sales, renewals, and partner success metrics to senior leadership.
