Requirements:

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Data Team: Lead and develop a high-performing data organization, including data engineers, analysts, and scientists. Define team goals, mentor talent, and foster career development and growth.
  • Define Data Vision and Strategy : Define the company’s data vision and strategy as an AI-first product company, and translate the strategy into actionable priorities and initiatives.
  • Uphold Data Standards : Standardize data collection, storage, and usage practices across teams. Define and evolve data governance policies, ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and ethical standards.
  • Manage Data Infrastructure & Engineering: Oversee the architecture and scalability of data pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage. Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility for business intelligence and analytics.
  • Stakeholder Management and Collaboration: Partner with organizational leaders to understand business needs and deliver on cross-functional data initiatives that help stakeholders make informed business decisions for their functions.
  • Inform and Enable the Business: Manage the analytics and data science functions to deliver a robust, self-service data platform, surface proactive data insights, and identify opportunities for growth and product innovation.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in AI data architecture and recommend solutions to enhance Ontra’s data capabilities.
