Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in UX/Product Design with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of UX designers working across all Growth initiatives
  • Develop and drive the UX strategy for user growth, ensuring delightful and relevant experiences that help new and returning users find value in Reddit
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers to identify opportunities, define priorities, and execute high-impact initiatives
  • Advocate for user needs while balancing business goals, leveraging data and research to inform design decisions
  • Foster a strong design culture within the team and across the organization, championing best practices in user-centered design, experimentation, and accessibility
  • Establish processes that improve team efficiency, design quality, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top design talent, providing coaching, feedback, and career development opportunities
  • Routinely collaborate with other consumer product teams across feeds, subreddits, and discovery to ensure design solutions scale cohesively.
