Requirements:
  • Experience designing user experiences for big data or complex data platforms.
  • Strong skills in designing user interfaces that make large data sets consumable and actionable for users.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as a subject matter expert in user experience, designing ideal user journeys and experiences for both new and existing features.
  • Provide guidance and input on user interface design.
  • Work closely with product management to research, design, and mock up new features and platform capabilities before handing them over to the development team.
  • Conduct user testing and iterate on designs based on feedback, ensuring continuous refinement of the JupiterOne experience.
  • Research common UX/UI patterns for big data platforms and design user journeys that simplify the user experience and reduce the learning curve.
  • Use user observability tools to identify friction points in JupiterOne’s user experience and prioritize design improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure UX/UI designs are feasible and seamlessly integrated with application development.
  • Design UI elements for various features and, as a bonus, help maintain our component library.
