Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
  • Proficiency in Rippling (HRIS) or similar payroll/HR platforms.
  • Knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws and workers’ compensation.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with workers’ compensation claims, reporting, audits, and other admin tasks.
  • Ensure proper classification of employees for workers’ comp.
  • Handle state tax registrations, filings, and compliance across multiple states.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation within Rippling.
  • Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Support HR compliance, including employee handbook updates and labor law postings.
  • Generate reports and track HR/payroll metrics as needed.
