Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success leading Approved Used Vehicle Programmes within OEM.
  • Strong product knowledge and interest in the 4x4 market.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Residual Value and TCO Models.
  • 5+ years’ experience, Automotive Industry, international experience preferred.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills as well as effective negotiation and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and inspire others.
  • An independent, target oriented approach to tasks.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with sensitivity and diplomacy.
  • Ability to multi task and control diverse projects.
  • Capable of working under pressure, on strategic and tactical timescales
Responsibilities:
  • Assessing and managing a fleet of unsold vehicles or those coming off lease.
  • Conducting vehicle inspections to determine their condition, and ensuring proper pricing for resale.
  • Identifying and developing sales channels for remarketing, such as online platform (e.g., auctions, dealerships), wholesale networks, and direct sales to consumers.
  • Working with dealerships, third-party auction houses, or online marketplaces to sell vehicles quickly and at optimal prices.
  • Developing marketing campaigns aimed at attracting buyers to the available inventory.
  • Using targeted advertising (digital marketing, social media, email campaigns) to increase visibility and sales of vehicles.
  • Engaging with both wholesale and retail buyers to build relationships, negotiate deals, and foster repeat business.
  • Ensuring excellent customer service and addressing concerns related to the buying process.
  • Analyzing market trends, vehicle pricing, and demand patterns to optimize remarketing strategies.
  • Preparing reports on inventory turnover, sales performance, and profitability for senior management.
  • Negotiating with third-party vendors, auction houses, and dealerships to ensure the best prices for inventory.
  • Building relationships with wholesale buyers and other key partners in the remarketing ecosystem.
  • Ensuring that all remarketing transactions comply with legal and regulatory requirements, such as vehicle titles, warranties, and documentation for resale.
  • Handling the return of leased vehicles, assessing their condition, and determining the most profitable way to resell them.
  • Coordinating with lease companies or financial institutions to resolve any issues regarding returned vehicles.
