Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 6+ years experience with transmission and distribution planning and managing interconnection of renewable energy facilities.
- Firm understanding of AC/DC fundamentals and three-phase power systems.
- Experience in power flow modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with RTO and utility tariffs and business practices.
- Proven ability to resolve complex interconnection study results and challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the utility interconnection process for both front-of-the-meter (FTM) and behind-the-meter (BTM) projects across various RTOs.
- Evaluate transmission and distribution tariffs, costs, and timelines while managing interconnection efforts.
- Oversee consultants to ensure compliance with utility requirements and improve internal design standards.
- Develop interconnection strategies that align with the company's long-term goals.
