Requirements:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or Economics, or relevant experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data extraction, cleaning, analysis and building reusable data pipelines; proficient in SQL, Spark SQL and/or Hive.
• 3+ years of experience with modern machine learning tools and programming languages, including Python and Pyspark.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Databricks, AWS EMR, or SageMaker is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication, strong stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop data products and machine learning models for Risk, Fraud, Collections, and portfolio management.
• Build accurate and automated monitoring tools to track model performance.
• Create a model deployment platform to streamline new model implementation.
• Establish end-to-end reusable data pipelines from acquisition to delivery.
• Lead business value initiatives through project planning and stakeholder management.
• Facilitate model governance activities with Compliance and Risk Management teams.
• Lead and mentor Data Science and non-Data Science teams.
