Requirements:
- BA/BS in Environmental Science/Engineering or related field.
- 8 to 10 years of experience preparing air permit applications (Title V, New Source Review, Permits by Rule, etc.) and compliance reports (Emission Inventories, GHG Reporting, etc.).
- 4 to 6 years of experience managing air quality projects and client relationships.
- Expertise in interpreting and applying regulatory requirements (NSPS, NESHAP, MACT, etc.).
- Expertise with project coordination, client interaction, and business development.
- Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, professional attitude.
- Proficient with MS Office suite and Adobe. Experience with ProMax, GRI-GLYCalc, SCREEN3, etc. preferred
- Strong safety awareness/practices as well as good recordkeeping.
Responsibilities:
- Manage air quality permitting and compliance projects for local and national clients.
- Calculate potential and actual emissions of air contaminants.
- Prepare air permit applications and compliance reports.
- Evaluate environmental regulatory applicability to various operations in various industries.
- Write and review technical reports and proposals.
- Plan and organize technical projects from conception to completion.
- Mentor and train project staff and ensure quality work product.
- Develop client relationships and new project work from existing and new clients.
- Interact with clients, agencies, and other consultants.
- Support program manager and coworkers in a team environment.
- Ensure safe performance of project work.
- Actively develop your own career path.
