Requirements:

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience in writing, developing, and presenting technical content.
• In-depth knowledge of databases (especially SQL-based), distributed systems, public cloud systems, and modern software architectures.
• Experience in building cloud-based deployment infrastructures and understanding customer tech stacks.
• Experience as a software engineer with practical relational database experience.
• Expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
• Proficient in shell programming and scripting (Bash).
• Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Cloud APIs.

Responsibilities:

• Own and deliver expert technical guidance to customers in planning, design, testing, migration, and implementation.
• Utilize technical skills to provide value to customers and support sales growth.
• Educate customers on CockroachDB capabilities and design tailored solutions.
• Lead implementations and drive adoption of Cockroach Labs tools/features.
• Develop and implement best practices and enhance Professional Services offerings.
