Requirements:

• Strong technical aptitude with extensive experience in enterprise platforms and infrastructure technologies.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS technologies including Virtual Servers, Networking, and Azure SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Windows-based server infrastructures and networking & firewall technologies.
• Experience with business continuity technologies, PowerShell, and Azure Databases.
• Formal IT qualifications or accreditations, such as ITIL, Prince 2, or MCSE.
• Understanding of standards and frameworks like SOC2, ISO 27001, and Cyber Essentials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Methodical, detail-oriented approach with a focus on documentation and procedures.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification is highly desirable.
• ITIL certification and relevant technology certifications like MCSE, CISSP, or AWS are beneficial.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in infrastructure technologies.
• Experience in leading technical teams or projects is an asset.
• Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise architecture and familiarity with common IT frameworks.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accountability for Azure infrastructure supporting finance environments for Verein Members and Affiliates.
• Lead technical efforts focused on infrastructure availability, optimization, security, and support.
• Ensure adherence to ITSM processes for incident management, problem management, and change management.
• Develop and implement technical processes for effective operation and optimization of environments.
• Collaborate with global and local teams for efficient support and maintenance of finance environments.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of roadmaps for finance environments.
• Manage technical activities with partners for new deployments, ensuring service delivery alignment.
• Take an active role in project tasks to ensure success.
• Support the design and testing of global integrations for finance environments.
• Participate in global change management processes to maintain environment stability.
• Collaborate with operations teams for monitoring and administration of finance environments.
• Manage platform upgrades and updates in partnership with other teams.
• Support security operations teams in monitoring tools and incident responses.
• Establish monitoring practices for finance systems performance and provide regular reporting.
• Identify recurring issues and implement solutions to improve reliability.
