University degree or equivalent; J.D. not required but highly desirable.
Legal or technical background is ideal.
Working knowledge of Cyber insurance markets.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Self-starter requiring minimal supervision; capable of working collaboratively.
Role may include up to 10% travel.
Responsibilities:
Actively manage and supervise a portfolio of primarily first party and third-party cyber claims with responsibility for end-to-end adjudication processes.
Analyze liability and damages issues and draft coverage letters and correspondence.
Navigate in both primary and excess insurance claim environments.
Collaborate with customers and brokers to achieve advantageous claim resolutions.
Work with external counsel and specialized vendors on cyber incident responses.
Ensure effective claim administration and accurate data with the Operations team.
Provide high level analysis of claims portfolio results and identify trends.
Review and assist in developing policy wordings and tailored solutions.
Liaise with Actuarial, Finance, and Risk Management colleagues regarding claims and risks.
Represent and promote Converge at industry events.
