Requirements:

• Manager candidates must have experience in accounting audits or advisory services (3+ years) with involvement in IFRS applicable companies.
• Manager candidates should have led the decision-making process for accounting treatment within IFRS contexts (3+ years).
• Staff members should possess practical experience in accounting audits or closing processes (3+ years).
• Knowledge of accounting standards (Japanese GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP) with experience in determining specific accounting treatment is required.
• For internal candidates, experience in corporate tax and consumption tax filings is desirable.
• A qualification of certified public accountant or passing the second stage of the CPA exam is needed for manager roles.
• For staff roles, passing the 2nd level of the bookkeeping exam is required.

Responsibilities:

• Engage in monthly and quarterly closing processes and tax declaration tasks.
• Determine accounting treatment for new transactions and support other team members as needed.
• Document the results of accounting treatment considerations.
• Implement business improvement and efficiency initiatives.
• Negotiate with auditing firms regarding relevant tasks.
