Requirements:
  • Ability to spend up to 70% of the time in the field short activation durations.
  • Must live within one (1) hour of an international airport or be willing to relocate.
  • Willing to travel frequently to remote locations.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent preferred, or 5+ years in management roles.
  • Experience in leading large teams in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal resources.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond within four (4) hours to manage relief operations at disaster areas.
  • Lead and manage field teams in distribution systems and meal allocation.
  • Design adaptable response strategies for high-stress environments.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train distribution teams.
  • Provide updates on operations to the Response Director.
  • Collaborate with WCK departments for effective activation support.
  • Ensure transitions between field leaders are smooth.
  • Complete After-Action Reports to improve processes.
  • Develop effective processes for meal delivery and manage dynamic distribution plans.
  • Research and manage food vendor partnerships, ensuring compliance and alignment with guidelines.
  • Review and approve supplier invoices.
  • Manage meal distribution using various transportation methods.
  • Share cost projections for operations with finance.
  • Source materials and ensure timely delivery.
  • Recruit and train distribution teams, providing mentorship and feedback.
  • Build relationships with local communities.
