Commercial Counsel (EMEA)

Requirements:

• 4+ years of in-house legal experience in a software/technology company.
• Knowledge of data privacy and experienced in handling related questions during negotiations.
• Admitted to the bar and authorized to practice law in Israel, the UK, or at least one European country.
• Strong business-friendly style, understanding that the legal team supports business growth.
• Ability to structure, draft, and negotiate a high volume of contracts, including SaaS agreements, professional services agreements, partner agreements, and NDAs.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Salesforce, Slack, DocuSign, and contract lifecycle management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Be a legal business partner to Wiz’s revenue teams in EMEA, summarizing and communicating legal concepts and risks effectively.
• Take ownership of drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and managing a wide range of legal agreements.
• Advise internal teams on contract interpretation and negotiation to accelerate contract velocity.
• Understand the context of customer positions and internal requests, aiming to resolve issues from their perspective.
• Triage workflows, set priorities with internal clients, and deliver results efficiently.
• Support the continuous improvement of agreement templates and legal processes.
• Manage agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and risk tolerance.
