Community Technical Moderator

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Analysis, and Machine Learning.
• Deep understanding of Spark and Delta.
• Experience with Medallion Architecture and familiarity with open-source tools like Unity Catalog, MLflow, Iceberg, and Hudi.
• Strong knowledge of AWS or Azure data services, with experience in the other platform and familiarity with GCP.
• Ability to research complex information landscapes.
• Proven collaboration and influence skills in low-resourced environments.
• Familiarity with community platforms like Khoros, Vanilla, and Discourse (preferred).
• Experience as a moderator or administrator of an online community (preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Help the online data practitioner community discover the Databricks platform.
• Provide accurate and timely answers to technical questions.
• Foster peer-to-peer assistance among community members.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and track question statuses.
• Develop partnerships with internal and external subject matter experts.
• Contribute to community documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Enhance expertise in AWS/Azure and Databricks through training programs.
