Requirements:

• Experienced leader with around 10 years of relevant experience in leading Underwriting, Pricing, or a line of business function in European or UK markets.
• Experience overseeing a range of insurance product lines, especially in Motor, Home, and SME sectors.
• Advanced skills in portfolio management.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Strong people management abilities with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adaptable to change.
• A passion for continuous innovation.
• Fluency in both French and English is mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the underwriting strategy and operations across all product lines.
• Ensure alignment with Wakam Group's strategic and financial goals for profitability and efficiency.
• Develop and manage portfolio management standards and monitor technical performance.
• Guide pricing and underwriting actions for each line of business.
• Accountable for the financial underwriting results of European operations.
• Provide leadership and guidance on underwriting management.
• Make underwriting decisions regarding material insurance risks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain governance.
• Lead European Underwriting Committees and other necessary committees.
