Requirements:

• Experienced leader with around 10 years in Underwriting, Pricing, or a line of business in European or UK markets.
• Experience overseeing multiple insurance product lines, particularly in Motor, Home, and SME sectors.
• Advanced portfolio management skills.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
• Strong people management abilities with experience in developing high-performing teams.
• Adaptable to change, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to navigate calculated risks.
• Passionate about continuous innovation.
• Fluency in both French and English.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the underwriting strategy and operations across all product lines.
• Ensure alignment with Wakam Group's strategic and financial goals.
• Develop and manage portfolio management standards and monitor performance.
• Guide pricing and underwriting actions with Business Heads and pricing actuaries.
• Accountable for financial underwriting results in European operations.
• Provide leadership on underwriting management and related activities.
• Responsible for decisions on material insurance risks.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and governance.
• Lead the creation and refinement of underwriting policies.
• Oversee European Underwriting Committees and necessary committees.
