Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of significant leadership and managerial experience.
• At least 5 years overseeing a team of 10-plus staff.
• Experience managing a budget of $5-plus million.
• At least 15 years of political campaign experience, with 7 in a senior role.
• Demonstrated understanding of laws governing 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) activities.
• Board governance experience.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities:

• Help SPLC Action Fund grow its budget.
• Manage the Political Department conducting political activity.
• Coordinate cross-department activity with staff from Communications, Intelligence Project, and State Offices.
• Develop a fundraising plan with the Development team.
• Ensure that at least 60% of the Action Fund’s work is considered 'primary purpose'.
