Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing for the United States and Canada.
- Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.
- Experience with Ceridian Dayforce, Culture Amp, Pave, and Confluence is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Certification in payroll (e.g., CPP) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Process semimonthly/monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure timely reporting of payroll-related data.
- Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage state and local tax accounts and ensure timely filing.
- Analyze HR metrics and payroll data to identify trends and provide insights to management.
- Prepare regular reports on payroll, turnover, and other HR-related metrics.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll, benefits, and HR processes.
- Stay updated on changes in labor laws and payroll regulations.
- HRIS administration and management.
- Collaborate with People team members to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in the onboarding process, including payroll setup for new hires.
- Help support employee benefits administration and inquiries.
