- Bachelorβs degree in HR, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Experience in international payroll and benefits in the USA and Canada is a plus.
- Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge and expertise in interacting with several areas in HR.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex payroll matters clearly.
- Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Advanced level of English (C1).
- Support to process payroll accurately and on time for all employees, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including salaries, benefits, tax withholdings, and deductions.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate data flow and alignment on employee compensation and benefits.
- Handle payroll inquiries from employees and provide clear, timely responses through Jira tickets or other company-approved channels.
- Assist in audits related to payroll.
- Follow any new updated guidance on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Responsible for new hire onboarding related to benefits orientation and setting up new hires in the HRIS.
- Serve as the main point of contact for all tier one employee benefit questions.
- Responsible for complying with all federal, state, and local benefits and HR laws.
