Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in payroll processing for the United States and Canada.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS systems.
  • Experience with Ceridian Dayforce, Culture Amp, Pave, and Confluence is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Certification in payroll (e.g., CPP) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Process semimonthly/monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable laws.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure timely reporting of payroll-related data.
  • Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Manage state and local tax accounts and ensure timely filing.
  • Analyze HR metrics and payroll data to identify trends and provide insights to management.
  • Prepare regular reports on payroll, turnover, and other HR-related metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Assist in internal and external audits related to payroll, benefits, and HR processes.
  • Stay updated on changes in labor laws and payroll regulations.
  • HRIS administration and management.
  • Collaborate with People team members to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the onboarding process, including payroll setup for new hires.
  • Help support employee benefits administration and inquiries.

  • Responsible for new hire onboarding related to benefits orientation and setting up new hires in the HRIS.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all tier one employee benefit questions.
  • Responsible for complying with all federal, state, and local benefits and HR laws.
