Requirements:

• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system engineering or related roles, particularly with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security and compliance features.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and administration.
• In-depth knowledge of security technologies, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative team work approach.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, design, roll out and manage Azure-based infrastructure and applications, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
• Develop and maintain configurations for Microsoft 365 services.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers for seamless integration and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards like GDPR and HIPAA.
• Design and implement security measures, utilizing Azure Security Center.
• Develop and maintain backup/restore strategies for data integrity.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead the response to critical incidents to minimize business impact.
• Create and maintain documentation of system configurations and procedures.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Generate reports on system performance and security incidents.
• Communicate risks and dependencies to team leaders.
