Requirements:

• In-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and mitigation strategies.
• Proficiency with vulnerability assessment tools like Nessus, Metasploit, and Burp Suite.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001, and compliance requirements like GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
• Experience managing security incidents and conducting forensic investigations.
• Proficiency with security tools including SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint security software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous.
• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security, with experience in security monitoring tools for network and application security.
• Familiarity with cloud security platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor network and system activity using security tools like SIEM, IDS, and firewalls to detect and respond to breaches.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on systems, applications, and networks.
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead incident response efforts to contain, investigate, and resolve security incidents, documenting and analyzing them.
• Implement and maintain access controls to ensure only authorized access to sensitive information.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats and apply this knowledge to improve security posture.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote security-conscious behavior.
