Finance Lead / Head of Finance

Requirements:

• Successfully completed university degree focused on finance/accounting or comparable qualification from a top university.
• 5+ years of relevant working experience in a senior finance capacity, preferably in a fast-paced fintech startup or scale-up.
• Sound knowledge of accounting regulations according to HGB or IFRS (US GAAP is a plus).
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and communicate effectively with professionals at all levels.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
• Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., DATEV) and MS Office (Lucanet or Power BI is a plus).
• Fluency in English, with German or Russian as a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Entire ownership of the accounting process while maintaining relationships with all functions and external stakeholders.
• Steering the preparation of financial statements, annual budgets, quarterly planning, and investor reporting.
• Preparation of routine reports and summaries for management, tracking and communicating various business KPIs.
• Financial modeling and business plan ownership, including scenario analysis.
• Assistance in fundraising initiatives and strategic projects, such as mergers and acquisitions.
