Requirements
- Licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with various behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance misuse.
- Supervision by consulting psychiatrists is required.
- Successful completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s) is preferred.
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model for delivering behavioral health services.
- Customize care for individual patients with autonomy in scheduling and appointment length.
- Perform medication management, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed.
- Focus on patient care without additional on-call responsibilities, with support for administrative tasks.
