Requirements
- Licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with various behavioral health issues, such as mood disorders and substance misuse, is required under supervision of a consulting psychiatrist.
- Successful completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s) is preferred, but not mandatory.
- New graduates are welcomed to apply.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH, which involves collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Have the autonomy to customize patient care, including deciding the frequency and duration of patient visits.
- Conduct medication management, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed.
- Create and manage personalized schedules to ensure work/life balance.
- Focus on patient care without any additional on-call responsibilities, with back-office support managing administrative tasks.
