Requirements
- Licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner required.
- Experience with behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance misuse is necessary.
- Welcome new graduates.
- Completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH.
- Customize care for each patient, determining their visit frequency and session length.
- Focus on medication management, individual psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
- Enjoy freedom in scheduling, typically between Monday and Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- No additional on-call responsibilities or administrative tasks outside of patient care.
