Requirements
- Licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience with various behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance misuse, and other psychiatric impairments.
- Welcomes new graduates.
- Preferred: Successful completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s).
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH.
- Customize the care for each individual patient, determining session frequency and length.
- Perform medication management and individual psychotherapy, as well as family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed.
- Focus on providing patient care without additional on-call responsibilities.
- Handle clinical care and documentation with support for billing and credentialing.
