Requirements
- Licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is required.
- Experience working with various behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and substance misuse is preferred but not required.
- Successful completion of PMHNP-BC examination is preferred.
- New graduates are also welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH.
- Customize care for each patient and determine the frequency and duration of visits.
- Perform medication management and individual psychotherapy as well as family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as needed.
- Work a custom schedule, typically between Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Focus on patient care with no additional on-call responsibilities.
