Requirements
- Licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, and substance misuse under a consulting psychiatrist.
- New graduates are welcome.
- Preferred: Successful completion of PMHNP-BC exams.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH.
- Join interdisciplinary teams consisting of various health professionals.
- Customize patient care including medication management and psychotherapy.
- Conduct family therapy, group therapy, and psychological testing as appropriate.
- Create a flexible schedule focusing on patient care without extra on-call responsibilities.
