Requirements:

• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts & technologies, such as Kubernetes, Openstack, AWS, GCP, Azure, and Ceph.
• Practical knowledge of Linux and networking.
• Experience in technical presales.
• Dynamic personality, eager to engage in new projects and interact with people.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Passion and demonstrated experience in developing and growing talent.
• Experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring engineers.
• Organizational skills to ensure timely and high-quality results.
• Exceptional academic track record from high school and preferably, university.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of Field engineers, managing both graduate and senior levels.
• Solve customer problems by promoting Canonical's technologies.
• Participate in presales conversations to offer technical advice.
• Coach, mentor, and provide career development feedback to team members.
• Identify and measure team health indicators.
• Implement disciplined engineering processes.
• Represent the team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers.
• Develop and advocate for strong engineering and organizational practices.
• Plan and manage progress on agreed goals and projects.
• Collaborate with other leaders as part of the leadership team.
