Tax Preparer/Accountant

Requirements:

• Accounting or business-related degree.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience in preparing various tax returns including 1120, 1120S, 1065, 990, and 1040 with Schedule C.
• Excellent general computer and data skills including MS Office and Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong experience using QuickBooks Online and Xero.
• Previous outsourced accounting and multi-client experience.
• Able to pass a drug screening and background check.
• Enrolled Agent, CPA, or CPA candidate is a plus.
• Verifiable references.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring the quality of tax and financial records through review of transactions/reports.
• Assist in all financial accounting processes.
• Prepare financial statements and tax returns.
• Address client questions and requests.
