Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science or similar technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 3-5 years experience delivering fixes for software bugs and/or feature enhancements
• Solid understanding of networks, operating systems, information security, and databases
• Experience with programming languages including Python, JavaScript, Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, or Go (Python and JavaScript preferred)
• Solid front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, including knowledge of React, Vue, Webpack, and NPM
• Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed
• Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English

Responsibilities:

• Debugging and troubleshooting client issues in production systems
• Identifying the root cause of software errors and proposing and developing fixes
• Refactoring legacy code and systems to increase maintainability and efficiency
• Writing Unit Tests and developing testing frameworks
• Collaborating with Customer Support and Product to handle client requests and issues
• Maintaining, monitoring and troubleshooting production systems
• Designing and building elegant and user-friendly UIs
• Designing and developing backend systems and APIs
• Adhering to agile development practices and improving processes
• Communicating clearly and effectively with team members
• Staying updated on developments in web applications and programming languages
