Requirements
- Licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with various behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and substance misuse.
- Welcoming new graduates to apply.
- Preferred: Successful completion of PMHNP-BC exams.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH, collaborating with various healthcare professionals.
- Customize care for individual patients, determining frequency and duration of visits.
- Conduct medication management and individual psychotherapy, as well as family and group therapy when necessary.
- Focus on patient care without additional on-call responsibilities, allowing more time with patients.
