Requirements
- Licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and substance misuse.
- Welcome new graduates; successful completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH.
- Customize care for each patient based on their individual needs.
- Practice medication management and individual psychotherapy, as well as family or group therapy as needed.
- Create a flexible schedule, typically between Monday and Friday, without additional on-call responsibilities.
- Cover the care for own patients while the support team handles administrative tasks.
