Requirements
- Licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with various behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance misuse, and other psychiatric impairments.
- Supervision by a consulting psychiatrist(s).
- Successful completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s) preferred.
- New graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the integrated care team model at OMH.
- Customize care for each patient, determining frequency and duration of visits.
- Conduct medication management and individual psychotherapy, with options for family and group therapy.
- Create personal schedules for work-life balance.
- Focus on patient care without additional on-call responsibilities, supported by a back-office team.
