Requirements
- Licensure in Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
- Experience working with diverse behavioral health issues such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance misuse, and other psychiatric impairments.
- Successful completion of PMHNP-BC exam(s) preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
Responsibilities
- The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) will participate in the integrated care team model at OMH.
- Clinicians will have the autonomy to customize care for each patient, including determining frequency and duration of visits.
- Common clinical work includes medication management and individual psychotherapy, along with family and group therapy as needed.
