Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field strongly preferred.
• 5-8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles required.
• Public or private accounting/consulting experience is strongly preferred.
• Advanced Excel and modeling skills including pivots, lookups, complex formulas, and macro capabilities.
• Strong knowledge and experience in accounting and finance, including month/year-end close, general ledger, financial systems, financial reporting, consolidations, reconciliations, and cash flow modeling.
• Experience in private equity and/or mergers and acquisitions is preferred.
• MBA, dual degree in finance, CPA, CMA, or other certifications preferred.
• Ability to quickly learn new software programs.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with team members to meet client stakeholder needs.
• Work with companies at different stages like start-ups, growth, scale, and sale.
• Recommend and implement process improvements encompassing streamlining and automation.
• Create C-Suite slide decks and engage in client meetings.
• Assist in formulating client service plans and participate in project team meetings.
• Utilize MS Excel and various software for accounting and finance tasks.
• Occasionally travel to client sites in the Tampa Bay Area.
