- Lead estimating efforts for complex, large-scale mission critical projects, including conceptual estimates, negotiated bids and budgets.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates.
- Prepare quantity take-offs and apply unit pricing for materials and labor.
- Review project documents and clarify scope with the design team and owner.
- Prepare value engineering and risk analyses, qualifications and assumptions, and cost comparisons.
- Manage subcontractor solicitation and selection.
- Prepare Exhibit B and scope sheets, in-house budgets and GMPs.
- Ensure quality control of bids and estimates.
- Build relationships with clients, designers and subcontractors, and facilitate collaboration among team members.
- Participate in business development activities, presentations and interviews.
