Engineering at Vitalize

Our engineering team builds core systems that power hospital operations at an enterprise scale, reimagining how hospitals work. We tackle complex challenges like real-time workforce intelligence, creating event-driven infrastructure that reconciles high-latency, multi-source healthcare data into a coherent operational model—effectively a dynamic digital twin of the hospital. We also develop systems that predict patient volume and staffing demand based on historical trends and real-time patient movement, and a decision layer that produces actionable staffing recommendations under tight constraints and partial information. Our stack includes a Typescript monorepo, Effect, Vite, Tanstack, Bun, Planetscale Postgres, and Drizzle.
