We automate your operating room's administrative burden. Get staff focused on the patient, we'll handle the rest.
This company operates with a remote-first culture, allowing team members to work from anywhere.
VitVio pioneers the digital transformation of operating rooms, leveraging computer vision and AI to eliminate administrative burden. Our platform digitizes surgical environments in real-time 3D, providing clarity on every action. AI agents then automate routine tasks: logging surgical phases, coordinating staff, and preparing op-notes. This frees medical teams to focus purely on patient care, enhancing hospital efficiency, improving billing accuracy, and optimizing OR utilization. You contribute to a future where technology empowers healthcare professionals, not burdens them.
You will join a remote-first team, valuing talent globally without geographic limitations. We operate with a strong emphasis on initiative and adaptability, encouraging creativity and drive in all team members. Our focus is on impact, not just hours clocked, fostering a passionate environment. We encourage collaboration and support through regular team-building events, such as our recent offsite in Sorrento, Italy. Occasional onsite visits to hospitals in the US and Europe may be part of your role.
You will build advanced AI and computer vision solutions that transform surgical workflows. Our core platform uses computer vision and ambient sensing to digitize operating rooms in 3D in real-time. We deploy AI agents to handle complex, routine tasks, ensuring high accuracy and efficiency in critical medical environments. For Product Designers, fluency in AI-native design and rapid AI-assisted prototyping using tools like Claude, Cursor, v0, Bolt, and Replit is essential. You'll tackle challenges like AI UX uncertainty, trust, transparency, and graceful failure. Our backend leverages Elixir (Phoenix) and C++, with a frontend built on React and TypeScript. We manage infrastructure on GCP, GitHub Actions, and NixOS, utilizing Postgres for data. Our APIs include GraphQL, REST, and integrations with healthcare systems like HL7/FHIR.
