- Develop Class 3 and Class 4 capital cost estimates for manufacturing, warehouse, and facility expansion projects.
- Produce detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns across equipment, civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
- Build, refine, and own estimating methodologies and tools for the organization.
- Review engineering drawings, specs, scope of work documents, bid packages, and vendor/contractor quotes for accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders, the design team, and project engineers to scope and estimate capital projects.
- Research and validate market pricing, labor rates, and equipment costs to keep estimates current.
- Present estimates to internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Travel to manufacturing and distribution sites approximately 30% of the time for project-specific site visits.
