About Redwood Materials

Redwood Materials pioneered the circular supply chain for lithium-ion batteries. You will help power the future of electric vehicles and sustainable energy storage. They recover over 95% of critical materials from end-of-life batteries. These materials are then refined into anode and cathode components for new battery production. Redwood Materials processes 10 GWh of batteries annually, aiming for 100 GWh by 2025. This provides enough materials for over one million electric vehicles each year. They partner with industry leaders like Volkswagen, Panasonic, Ford, and General Motors. This team is building the infrastructure for a truly sustainable energy future.

How We Work

Redwood Materials thrives on a mission-driven culture. You will find immense pride in your tangible climate impact. The team is purpose-oriented, building a circular U.S. battery supply chain. Expect a startup mentality that encourages rapid decision-making. We value hands-on learning and active knowledge sharing. You will find an emphasis on accountability and ownership. This environment moves fast, with evolving priorities due to rapid growth.

Your work directly powers a multi-billion dollar manufacturing operation. The team ships production applications on AWS using strong Python and React skills. You will design robust APIs and integration patterns. We embrace event-driven architecture and workflow orchestration. Enthusiasm for AI-assisted development is a plus. Your contributions are not just projects; they are permanent product areas. You will own and evolve these systems as the company scales.
