Requirements:

• Candidates must have either a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of professional experience in graphic design or an Associate’s degree and at least 4 years of professional experience in graphic design.
• A cover letter, resume, and link to an online portfolio is required with all applications.
• Candidates must have a thorough understanding of design and typography, digital and offset print processes, and color systems.
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop, and basic Microsoft Office products; ability to provide creative design and typographic solutions.
• Familiarity with creating accessible digital documents is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• The part-time Graphic Designer is responsible for assisting the creative team with design and production of print and digital materials.
• This includes preparing marketing materials such as brochures, displays, social ads, fliers, and web graphics.
• The designer will develop innovative ideas with a consistent brand for all promotional material while focusing on building engagement with Penn State University Park Students.
• Responsibilities also include curating social media content, tracking projects in various software, and maintaining all archives.
