Pre-Sales Engineer

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Consulting, IT Architecture, or DevOps.
• Familiarity with SDLC tools, particularly build tools (Maven, Gradle, etc.), version control systems (Git, Subversion), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and artifact repositories (Artifactory).
• Advanced communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
• Continuous learning mindset and thirst for knowledge.
• Willingness to travel up to 35% for customer sites and events.

Responsibilities:

• Play a critical role in helping customers optimize developer productivity.
• Collaborate with the Sales team through MEDDICC to identify potential applications of the Develocity product.
• Deliver software demos, solution presentations, workshops, and product trials showcasing Develocity’s value.
• Provide technical recommendations for software build orchestration and optimization.
• Collaborate with Engineering team SMEs for high-value use cases.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners.
• Educate Sales colleagues about relevant product knowledge.
• Maintain FAQs based on field experience.
• Stay current with trends in DPE, SDLC, and DevOps.
• Communicate customer feedback to relevant teams.
