Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain, Sales Operations, Commercial Analytics, and Market Research functions
  • Demonstrated competence in commercial life science or a related industry environment
  • Superior interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to thrive in a small company, entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of sales and marketing operations and regulatory guidelines
  • Effective knowledge of budgeting process, accounting principles, and analytical forecasting skills
  • In-depth knowledge of data requirements and available sources across all areas of the company
  • Ability to execute an integrated sales optimization plan
  • Demonstrates enhanced computer and database skills including business analytics software (e.g., SAS)
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and lead the sales operation staff to meet department objectives within compliance guidelines.
  • Manage inventory of finished goods balanced against customer service and financial targets.
  • Manage third party vendors for data, market research, and sales optimization.
  • Oversee all third-party data sources and customer master files.
  • Conduct analysis to identify physician target universe for each product and develop promotional response curves.
  • Manage process for alignment of territories for optimal sales force utilization.
  • Develop and manage primary market research of currently marketed products and future products.
  • Work with field sales and senior management to design and execute sales quotas.
  • Administer the Sales Incentive Compensation Program and ensure accurate reporting of factory sales.
  • Independently analyze and report sales results for various internal audiences.
  • Develop and report on KPIs/performance scorecards.
  • Administer SFA/CRM system ensuring accurate data collection and territory alignment.
  • Actively serve on Commercial Operations Leadership Team.
  • Maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Manage agreements and budgets for outsourced partners.
  • Ensure compliance with Medexus’ policies and conduct duties consistent with their Mission & Values.
