Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of financial or data analysis experience.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with Excel Power Query, pivot tables, advanced formulas, lookups, financial modeling, data transformation, automation, and large data sets.
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting and visualization tools is preferred.
- Experience using OneStream, Peoplesoft, ERP, HR, or project management systems is preferred.
- Ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical thinking.
- Ability to communicate insights and tell stories with data to executive-level partners.
- Ability to partner cross-functionally and influence outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain working forecasts using updated assumptions and business inputs.
- Execute quarterly forecast loads and support budget development, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis.
- Communicate budget and forecast assumptions, changes, and impacts to finance leadership and business partners.
- Perform month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and schedules for hardware, software, and telecom spend.
- Prepare and communicate monthly financial results and explain trends and variance drivers to SVP-level partners.
- Analyze financial outcomes and deliver portfolio-level reporting on performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare monthly and weekly data files for reporting, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.
- Lead process improvement and automation efforts and perform demand and capacity analysis.
- Support technology renewals and purchase approvals, validating financial impact, budget alignment, and policy compliance.
