Requirements
- Have strong frontend engineering experience and experience across the stack.
- Have experience building and maintaining production web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Be comfortable contributing to backend services and APIs.
- Value maintainability, readability, automated testing, and secure development practices.
- Have experience delivering complex projects and mentoring other engineers.
- Have experience being on-call, supporting production software, ensuring reliability, and responding to incidents.
- Be able to tackle complex engineering problems with minimal supervision.
- Use AI coding tools thoughtfully, validate their output, and share useful practices with teammates.
- Communicate clearly in a fully remote, asynchronous environment.
Responsibilities
- Own technical projects from problem framing through rollout, gather user feedback, and measure outcomes.
- Build intuitive user experiences with clean, reusable components in collaboration with Product Management, Product Design, and backend engineers.
- Contribute to supporting APIs and backend functionality where needed.
- Mentor and collaborate with engineers through code reviews, design feedback, and pairing.
- Participate in on-call, incident response, and follow-up for the software you help build.
- Provide technical support in customer escalations and identify areas of friction.
- Collaborate with other squads on shared dependencies, design proposals, demos, and technical discussions.
