Requirements
- Have strong frontend engineering experience and experience working across the stack.
- Have built and maintained production web applications with React and TypeScript.
- Be comfortable contributing to backend services and APIs.
- Value maintainability, readability, automated testing, and secure development practices.
- Have experience delivering complex projects and mentoring other engineers.
- Have experience being on-call, supporting production software, ensuring reliability, and responding to incidents.
- Be able to tackle complex engineering problems with minimal supervision.
- Use AI coding tools thoughtfully, validate their output, and share useful practices with teammates.
- Be keen to contribute to the Grafana community.
Responsibilities
- Own technical projects from problem framing through rollout, gather user feedback, and measure whether shipped work is effective.
- Build intuitive user experiences with clean, reusable components in collaboration with product management, product design, and backend engineers.
- Contribute to supporting APIs and backend functionality where needed to deliver complete customer experiences.
- Mentor and collaborate with engineers through code reviews, design feedback, pairing, and written documentation.
- Participate in on-call for the software you help build and contribute to incident response.
- Provide technical support for customer escalations and identify areas of high friction.
- Collaborate with other squads on shared dependencies, contribute to design proposals, and share work through demos and technical discussions.
