Requirements
- Experience leading engineering teams, including hiring, people development, performance, and delivery management.
- Experience leading teams in AI, ML, or data-driven engineering environments.
- Experience training models independently.
- Strong technical background with hands-on development experience.
- Ability to validate technical decisions independently.
- Experience taking AI-powered products or services from concept to production.
- Experience measuring impact through A/B tests or other metrics.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business and product requirements into clear technical solutions and priorities.
- Ability to collaborate with Product, Data, and business stakeholders.
- English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead the team across hiring, planning, task decomposition, process improvements, and cross-team collaboration.
- Own and drive internal AI platform development from concept to production, maintaining reliability as adoption grows.
- Turn recurring product-team needs into reusable platform capabilities rather than one-off solutions.
- Ensure team performance and reliable, on-time delivery aligned with company and business goals.
- Partner with Product, Data, AI, and internal platform users to understand needs and drive adoption.
- Evaluate, integrate, and extend open-source solutions, making build-versus-adopt decisions.
- Shape the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable backend services, APIs, and integrations.
