Requirements
- Have 6+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience, including modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
- Demonstrate proficiency in architecture patterns, API design with REST and GraphQL, asynchronous processing, and microservices.
- Have experience with cloud infrastructure, especially AWS services such as Lambda, EventBridge, and S3.
- Have experience with relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Understand event-driven architectures and asynchronous processing patterns such as EventBridge or SQS.
- Have experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control, including GitHub Actions.
- Have hands-on experience building LLM-backed features, including prompt design, retrieval, structured output, evaluation, and cost and latency management.
- Be fluent with AI coding agents.
- Have experience writing and maintaining automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- Be able to work independently and with a distributed team.
Responsibilities
- Own projects and features end to end, from technical design through implementation, testing, deployment, and support.
- Translate business requirements into resilient, well-tested software with product managers and QA.
- Contribute to architectural discussions, design reviews, and platform-wide decisions.
- Improve engineering standards through code reviews, documentation, and mentorship.
- Create and maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.
- Build experimentation and analytics foundations, including feature flags, A/B tests, instrumentation, and observability.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues using logs, metrics, and instrumentation.
- Debug, refactor, and optimize performance across maintained services.
