Requirements
- Have solid experience with at least one programming language.
- Bring familiarity with Go, Python, Java, C++, Rust, or a similar language.
- Have some experience delivering projects from requirements gathering and brainstorming through shipping to customers.
- Have some experience developing software that runs in the cloud or in systems engineering.
- Write clean, robust, performant software that is maintainable by others.
- Be able to work independently in a fully remote team and communicate effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems.
- Own the reliability, performance, and availability of the systems you maintain.
- Work with the team to deliver features and iterate based on results.
- Drive projects from ideation through operation in customers' hands.
- Contribute to open-source projects beyond the team's direct scope.
- Participate in on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you run.
- Mentor and support team members and participate in design discussions.
- Collaborate with Grafana Cloud teams and customers on Alerting and SLOs.
